“More force is the definition of less differentiation.”

I remembered Anat Baniel’s words: “More force is the definition of less differentiation.”

Read this person's story where she applies some of the principles I keep emphasizing in class; in this story she applies them to working with horses but the reasoning and effect is the same as when you apply them to your approach in my classes. Go slow, use less force, be subtle, notice differences, don't effort, and then watch the changes happen!
